Most Likely To is a 6 episode web series that features Latinx and LGBTQ talent from San Antonio, Texas, which isn’t always authentically portrayed on television or film. As director and a former theatre teacher, Vanessa Rae Lerma wanted to give her students an opportunity to perform and represent our San Antonio Cultura in a way that is authentic to us.

The opera starts with young Sam and his father in a cave. When a heated disagreement culminates in harsh words that can’t be taken back, the cave collapses and separates them. Alone, the two of them must separately reconcile with family, choice, and the other person in the relationship. By the end, we may hope, in spite of earlier events, to see the two of them together again.

As a determined young gay trying to find love in this gay little world, Aaron is ready to fall in love. On his quest, Aaron finds himself in many first dates, even taking him to the other side of the world. But what do you do when you find yourself left with nothing? This is a love story to the community of people who’ve made me who I am today.
