Blondie
A Film by Aaron Jin
Synopsis: A son tries to reconcile with his mother in an unexpected reunion.
Blondie is the first script I ever wrote. You shouldn’t always make the first thing you write, but as I continued my study of filmmaking and directing, I kept coming back to this story. It’s a subtle, gentle, and personal snapshot between a child and their parent. Even if they can never come together, sometimes you still choose to be together. To choose each other.

The Talent
Produced by All is Well and Fujifilm
Synopsis: At the local talent show, Tina really wants to push the golden buzzer.
The Talent is a 60-second short that highlights my comedic prowess. This was the final project for the inaugural filmmaking internship with All is Well and Fujifilm, and challenged me to tell a story and make it come to life with only two weeks (turned to one week) of pre-production. It’s a guaranteed laugh!
Premiered at Local Sightings Film Festival 2022.
